Food and Drink

Lochview offers a full cooked Scottish Breakfast alongside a continental breakfast with special dietary requirements catered for by request. Also offered is traditional Scottish Porridge, waffles with various toppings, a selection of pastries, cereals, yogurts, and fruit. Breakfast at Lochview is served between 08.30hrs and 09.30hrs.

Within walking distance from Lochview is The Pier Café/Restaurant and The Thistle Bistro & Lounge Bar (at the Lairg Highland Hotel) which both offer excellent food  for Dinner or Lunch or perhaps you would prefer to have fish and chips from Shin Fry which you are most welcome to eat in our Dining Room or garden. 

There is also the The Nip Inn Bar Pub at the Lairg Highland Hotel which is the village pub. 

There is also a restaurant at the Falls of Shin which is renowned for offering excellent food.  You also get a 10% discount on your food order if you tell them you are staying with us at Lochview Bed & Breakfast.
